Blood Bonds by J. Bree6/11/2023 ![]() ![]() I don’t fully know how it works, but it’s pretty cool. I did like how Bree focused more on Oli’s bond in Blood Bonds and the power she has, as well as the powers the other bonds have. She only complains about how she is overpowered, but there are far more dangerous people than her? So why isn’t she using her powers to, I don’t know, fight the resistance? Oli is still annoying, and I don’t get why her bonds are in love with her. Not only that, but I loved getting to know her bonds more and see the way they interact with each other. ![]() I feel like we finally got a glimpse of these characters, who they are, and what they are capable of. I liked Blood Bonds a little better than Savage Bonds. Who are my friends, and who are my enemies? When loyalties are questioned and Bonds are tested, everything I thought I knew gets turned upside down. Maybe I’ll be a monster of my own creation. With my Bonds desperately trying to reach me and new friendships I never expected, I start to believe that maybe I won’t become the weapon they want me to be. After three years on the run, I’m back in a Resistance camp, chained to a chair as the resident monster.Įverything I ran from, all of the villains of my past, they’re all here to take another bite out of me. ![]()
